一 | (ECNS) -- The Global Smart Education Conference 2026 themed “Reimagining Education in the Age of AI: Equity, Quality and Sustainability” was held in Beijing from Tuesday through Thursday, gathering representatives from over 60 countries. Co-hosted by Beijing Normal University and the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, the three day event focused on building inclusive, technology driven education systems. It featured forums covering all stages of education, from early childhood to lifelong learning. A key highlight was the launch of the Global Smart Schools Program. This initiative aims to foster international cooperation by sharing best practices and case studies from countries including China, the Netherlands, Singapore, Canada, and Kenya. The program outlines five pillars of smart schooling, centering on AI‑driven learning experiences, digital training for teachers, and strong home‑community collaboration. Vice Minister of Education Ren Youqun announced the nation's "AI Plus Education" action plan, which integrates digital resources across all levels of education. Tang Qian, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, emphasized sustainable, fair, and human‑centered technology integration, as well as joint resource sharing. 二 | 8月25日电 国务院新闻办公室25日举行新闻发布会，介绍第二十六届中国国际投资贸易洽谈会有关情况。 会上，商务部新闻发言人、副部长兼国际贸易谈判副代表凌激介绍，伴随着跨国公司不断深耕中国市场，引资形势也稳中向好，当前中国吸引外资的存量比较稳定，到2025年底，约4万亿美元左右。 今年1-7月份，新设外资企业3.8万家，实际利用外资降幅较去年同期收窄6.2个百分点，达到4383.3亿元人民币，特别是高技术产业吸引外资同比增长32.7%。
